Frequently Asked about the Course
How is the course structured?
Once a week we will have a 90 minute live zoom call – 1:30 – 3 pm ET. In this session we’ll be practicing our speaking and listening skills together and in pairs in breakout rooms.
In between these live sessions you will be going through content on our learning platform (sutra.co). Content includes vocab, basic grammar, pronunciation points and dialogue recordings. All content is designed with one thing in mind – to improve your conversational ability. The platform is interactive and will have you recording yourself before moving onto the next module. The aim is to keep you engaged in your learning and motivated to continue.

But I already know a lot of words...
Maybe you are thinking…but I already know a lot of words and am not really a beginner. For me, the chance to continue practicing using what you know is most important. It takes hours upon hours of practice of using words you already know in conversation in order to feel comfortable doing so. Therefore, even if you are more beginner-intermediate, I believe this course will be valuable to give you an opportunity to speak and listen. Plus, chances are there will be someone else around your level and we can pair you together in breakout rooms to keep you challenged if that’s important to you.
What level of Hebrew do I need to be to register?
The requirement is that you know how to read. This way we can go straight to learning words and dialogues without the need for transliteration or learning letters. I am available to teach you
