Hey team,

This episode of Mike Mistovev (Mike’s wanderings) takes place at the local pasta restaurant. It’s called pasta basta and is a well known pasta chain in Israel serving tasty pasta at pretty good prices. Here’s the location of my local one in Tel Aviv where this episode was filmed.

The words from today’s episode you’ll use at any restaurant, not just a pasta place.

  1. מסעדה – אֲנִי חוֹשֶׁבֶת שֶׁהַמִּסְעָדָה הַזֹּאת סוּפֶּר טְעִימָה

  2. טָעִים – הָאֹכֶל הַזֶּה מַמָּשׁ טָעִים

  3. סַכִּין – אֵיפֹה יֵשׁ סַכִּין? שָׁם לְיַד הַכּוֹס

  4. צַּלַּחַת – הַצַּלַּחַת הַזֹּאת גְּדוֹלָה מְאוֹד

  5. קִנוּחַ – מָה יֵשׁ לְקִנּוּחַ?

  6. תַּפְרִיט – אֶפְשָׁר עוֹד תַּפְרִיט בְּבַקָּשָׁה?

  7. מֶלְצַר – הַמֶּלְצַר לֹא כָּל כָּךְ טוֹב

  8. (לְשָׁלֵם, מְשַׁלֵּם (עַל) – אִפְשֵׁר אֶת הַחֶשְׁבּוֹן, אֲנִי רוֹצָה לְשַׁלֵּם.

  9. כֶּסֶף – יֵשׁ לִי כֶּסֶף, אֲנִי יָכוֹל לְשַׁלֵּם

  1. Restaurant – I think that this restaurant is super tasty
  2. Tasty – This food is really tasty
  3. Knife – Where is there a knife? There, next to the cup
  4. Plate – This plate is really big
  5. Dessert – What is there for dessert?
  6. Menu – May I have another menu please?
  7. Waiter- The waiter is not so good
  8. To pay – May I have the bill, I want to pay
  9. Money – I have money, I can pay
